This Privacy Policy explains how Max Vert (“Max Vert,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit playmaxvert.com, use the Max Vert web game, or use the Max Vert mobile application.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information: If you sign in, we may receive your name, email address, profile image, and account identifier from the sign-in provider.
- Player content: A display name, game feedback, and messages you submit through a problem report.
- Support information: Information you include when contacting us.
Information collected automatically
- Gameplay telemetry: When a network connection is available, the website and the iOS app send first-party gameplay events to Max Vert’s servers at playmaxvert.com. Events may include an anonymous game/session identifier (not your name, email, or Apple ID), platform (web or iOS), game mode, round, selected cards, scores, outcomes, crashes, rules version, and similar play-state details. These events are used to operate, debug, and improve the game. Sends are best-effort: they never block play, and the game remains fully playable offline.
- Problem reports: If you submit a report, the app or website may include a screenshot and the current game state. Do not include sensitive personal information in a report.
- Local storage: Preferences, guest history, entitlements, and game settings may be stored locally on your device or browser.
- Technical information: Browser/device type, operating system, approximate timing, and network information may be processed by our hosting and infrastructure providers.
How we use information
We use information to provide and secure the website and app; save game progress and statistics when enabled; process purchases and entitlements; respond to support requests; diagnose bugs; understand gameplay performance; prevent abuse; and improve Max Vert.
Service providers
We use service providers to host and operate Max Vert, which may include Firebase and Google Cloud for hosting, authentication, database, functions, logs, and Google Analytics 4; Apple for App Store distribution and in-app purchase processing; and infrastructure providers used to deliver web and app content. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Google Analytics 4 may use cookies or similar technologies to measure page visits, traffic sources, and aggregate website usage. You can limit cookies through your browser settings or use browser privacy controls.
Advertising and sale of information
We do not sell personal information. We do not currently use third-party behavioral advertising in the Max Vert app. If this changes, we will update this policy and the applicable app disclosures.
Apple app privacy disclosures
The Max Vert iOS app may collect gameplay telemetry, diagnostics, and account information as described above. Gameplay telemetry is first-party only: the app posts events to playmaxvert.com and does not include a third-party analytics SDK. We do not use this data to track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and we do not use it for advertising. Account information is used for account functionality and game statistics when you choose to sign in. The app does not require an account to play as a guest. Apple may process purchase and transaction information for App Store purchases; Max Vert does not receive your full payment-card number.
Data retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including operating the service, maintaining records, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Guest data stored locally remains on your device until you delete it or clear the app/browser data.
Your choices and rights
You may play as a guest, play fully offline (gameplay telemetry is only sent when a network connection is available), clear local app/browser data, and request access, correction, or deletion of account information by contacting us. There is currently no in-app toggle to disable telemetry while online. You may also sign out of the app or website. App Store subscription and purchase controls are managed through your Apple account.
Children
Max Vert is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure.
International users
Information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Max Vert evolves. We will post the updated policy and revise the “Last updated” date.
